What is a payday loan?

A payday loan is a short term loan for a small amount ($100-$1500) that can be used to cover urgent expenses and a variety of different things. Payday loans usually loaned until you next pay day. They are not meant to be used as a long term solution. The cost of a $100 loan is typically about half the cost of a bank dishonour fee, less than paying late fee's for your rent, and certainly more convenient and private than having to visit a bank.

Who can get a payday loan?

If you are employed, over 18, Resident of Australia, have your salary deposited directly into your bank account and take home more than $400 net per week you can apply for a payday loan. Usually you can borrow up to $500 for your first loan and up to 30% of your take home pay. Once you have paid off your first payday advance, you will be able to borrow more providing your circumstances have not changed. We are always careful to lend amounts which will not lead to repayment difficulty or bad credit.

How do I repay my loan?

A direct debit is set up for your next payday. You can log in to check repayment details or view your contract or previous loans anytime. The day before your direct debit we'll send an SMS and email reminding you of repayment details to help you stay organised.



What if I cannot repay the loan on due date?

If you think you will not have sufficient funds in your bank account, you must contact us immediately to halt the direct debit. You must contact us at least two days prior to the direct debit date or it will be rejected resulting in a dishonour fee from your bank.

How long is the approval process?

If you contact your payroll officer and we can confirm details with them, the loan will be approved quickly.

Can I have more than one loan at a time?

Most lenders require that you pay each loan in full before you can get a new one.
